OKI Data Continues to Expand Businesses in Malaysia
Malaysian Media HardwareZone reported its team has been invited to Japan by OKI Data Malaysia. During the tour, HardwareZone’s team met OKI’s top management and learnt about the company’s plans in Malaysia.
Takao Hiramoto, President for OKI Data Corporation, revealed that OKI currently runs six main businesses, including printing, telecommunications, social infrastructure, systems hardware, solutions and services, and electronics manufacturing. Also, OKI has established offices across the world, such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, America and China. “Malaysia remains one of the strongest markets for OKI Data, and the company will continue to focus its efforts in this country,” Hiramoto added.
Further, Hiramoto noted that the company’s office printing solutions will remain a viable source of revenue. Hiramoto believes that due to the demand for the commercial photograph printing, the professional market is still untapped.
Hiroshi Endo, Corporate Officer and General Manager of Products Business Department at OKI Data Corporation, explained the LED printing which has made OKI printers featured reliability and quality. Tetsuhei Kawamura, General Manager of Overseas Marketing and Sales Division at OKI Electric Industry observed that the company is discussing with a number of Malaysian banks for bringing their ATMs into the country |
