The market
leaders in the printing industry are increasingly targeting their advertising
messages at schoolchildren rather than at their parents. There is a good reason
for this: schoolwork is increasingly digital, and the newest generations of
printers are aimed at making all sorts of tasks as easy as possible, i.e.,
perfectly manageable by children. What\'s more, it\'s schoolwork that is the main
reason for the existence of household printers today, and HP was the company
that first woke up to the fact, starting to offer low-cost family printers
specifically aimed at satisfying the educational needs of the children in the
house. Now most printer makers are creating affordable, user-friendly models
for family use.
